IDS-DRR is designed to move users from data awareness to actionable insights for disaster management and resource allocation.

#### 1\. Identify High-Risk Regions

This use case allows officials to pinpoint which districts or sub-districts require the most immediate attention for pre-monsoon preparedness.

> 
> **Action:** Select the **Overall Risk** indicator and scan the map for "Red" (Very High Risk) regions to identify where interventions are most urgent.

#### 2\. Diagnose the Cause of Risk

Once a high-risk region is identified, the tool helps determine whether the risk is driven by nature or socio-economic conditions.

> 
> **Action:** Click on a high-risk district and compare the **Hazard** and **Vulnerability** risk levels in the data overlay (panel to the right). This helps identify if the risk is driven by extreme weather or socio-economic fragility.

#### 3\. Evaluate Resource Adequacy (Gap Analysis)

This flow helps officials assess whether the most at-risk regions are receiving sufficient administrative support.

> **Action:** Select the **Government Response** indicator or any data point under it while viewing a high-risk area. These datapoints can help you identify a critical gap where funding or tenders should be prioritized.
